Middle School Artists Illustrate Concepts

Students in Artistic Collaboration, a Middle School class taught by Ms. Zee, worked in teams to create two-dimensional images to represent a variety of abstract ideas, including the concepts of of justice, hope, and courage. They presented their images to a panel of faculty and staff members who provided feedback on the creative and thoughtful works. In communicating complex concepts in line, shape, and color, students learned about the power of images and how they can transcend language.
