  • By Bike or Scooter

Bike racks are conveniently located around campus.
  • By Bus

NCS is served by several Metrobus lines that have stops immediately adjacent to our campus, including the 31, 32, 33, 36, 96, N2, N4, and N6. Please use the WMATA Trip Planner to learn more.

Connect DMV Shuttle Bus is an option for families in Prince George’s County, Md.
  • By Metrorail

The Woodley Park/Adams Morgan/Zoo Metro station, on the Red Line, is less than a mile from NCS. The Tenleytown Metro station, also on the Red Line, is just over a mile from campus.

Note: Students from D.C. are eligible to enroll in the Kids Ride Free program. Faculty and staff receive subsidies for Metrorail and Metrobus.

NCS runs a morning and afternoon shuttle to the Woodley Park Metro station for students and employees.
  • By Car

NCS strongly encourages families to consider participating in a carpool. Current families may use the Carpool Corner feature in MyNCS to connect with other families by zip code.

On NCS's campus, each division has specific pick-up and drop-off locations and procedures for everyone’s safety and efficiency.

Parking is available in the Cathedral’s underground garage, which has entrances off Woodley Road and at a traffic light on Wisconsin Avenue. You may view additional information on the Cathedral’s parking page, including rates. The first 30 minutes are free. To minimize disruptions to our neighbors, please do not park on the streets surrounding campus.

For athletic events, under the terms of our neighborhood agreement, all visitors are required to park in the Cathedral garage and not on neighboring streets. After 3:30 pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends, parking is also available on the surface roads of the Cathedral grounds.

Please note that parking is not permitted on the road that runs directly past the Athletic Center up to Beauvoir School. If you park there, you will be ticketed by the Cathedral Foundation police.
