Eighth Grade Votes on Doublespeak Awards

The Class of 2029 held its annual Doublespeak Awards in November. The Doublespeak Award was established in 1974 by the Public Language Award Committee at the National Council of Teachers of English. The Committee identifies, addresses, and promotes interest in and knowledge of language used in public spaces. Four students presented speeches.
