Elinor Scully Reads at Lower School Chapel

At the final Lower School chapel service before spring break, the program celebrated the theme of love. Head of School Scully read the children’s book “Love” by best-selling author and Newbery Award winner Matt de la Peña. Vestry students shared readings from Muslim writers and verses from the Qu’ran, in a nod to the beginning of Ramadan, and verses from the Christian tradition. Students were prompted to reflect on the love they give and receive from those around them. A lovely way to connect before the break!
