Community Gathers for Cathedral Service on Black History Month

The NCS community enjoyed a Cathedral service in honor of Black History month. Students, parent/guardians, and faculty and staff contributed their voices to the service with meaningful readings. The Brown Ballerinas Global, who came at the invitation of Layla G. ’27, performed a beautiful dance to Whitney Houston’s singing of “I Love the Lord.” The service included prayers for peace and racial justice, and ended with a vibrant and beautiful rendition of “Stand Up” led by Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Jasmine Meade.
