Community Honors Martin Luther King, Jr. with Day of Celebration

The NCS and STA communities gathered in Washington National Cathedral for a service to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., focused on the theme of “who is my neighbor?” The Rev. Canon Leonard Hamlin offered a homily, while the Cathedral’s Contemporary Music Ensemble provided beautiful music. Following the Cathedral service, the community paid tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with an array of activities. In one workshop, Upper School students created beautiful paper doves.
