Visual Arts Club Creates Mural for St. Thomas' Parish
Members of the NCS Visual Arts Club created a mural that is now permanently on display at St. Thomas’ Parish in Washington, D.C.
The mural is designed to welcome Rainbow Railroad, a Canadian-based nonprofit that helps at-risk LGBTQI+ individuals reach safety around the world. Rainbow Railroad uses space in St. Thomas’ as a base of operations. At the mural presentation and installation, which took place at St. Thomas’ Pride Month service on June 2, Visual Arts Club leaders Julia W. ’25 and Samantha H. ‘25 gathered with representatives from St. Thomas’ and Rainbow Railroad.
