Fifth Grade Visits Wetlands in Accokeek

The Class of 2031 headed to Accokeek, Md., to visit the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Hard Bargain Farm and learn about sources of water pollution and environmental conservation. The site has a working farm, and the NCS students had the opportunity to see farm animals, take a tractor ride, and walk around the wetlands to learn about watersheds.
