Upper School Assembly Highlights Writing Excellence

Several Upper School students won prizes and were awarded fellowships at the annual Upper School Writers’ Assembly.

Nora P. '25 and Mallika M. '25 will attend the Oxbridge Tradition Program as Koch Fellows this summer. Neha K. '25 was named a Killip-McMahon Fellow.

Mallika also was chosen by peers as the winner of this year’s Hyde Prize. Other finalists were Riley T. ’26, Matilda G. ’27, Renee P. ’25, and Aanya K. '24.

Stella D. ’27, Neha, and Mallika were this year’s Writers’ Prize winners for their excellence in prose, drama, and poetry.

The winner of the McMahon Prize was Nalini B. '24. Erica B. '25 won the prize for Outstanding Independent Research Project for an insightful essay on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
