Lopez Fuentes Earns Prize for Academic Article

An academic article by Upper School Social Sciences teacher Julia Lopez Fuentes was awarded the First Article Prize by the Council for European Studies. The award “honors the writers of the best first articles on European studies published within a two-year period.” Lopez Fuentes’s article, titled “A Forgetting for Everyone, by Everyone? Spain’s Memory Laws and the Rose of the European Community of Memory, 1977-2007” was published in the Journal of Modern History.
