Class of 2026 Serves the Community

NCS and STA 10th graders dispersed around the region for their annual joint service trip. Students served six D.C. agencies, engaging in tasks including removing invasive species with the Anacostia Watershed Society and Rock Creek Weed Warriors, visiting seniors at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, participating in food service with D.C. Central Kitchen, gardening at a transitional emergency care center with Sasha Bruce Youthwork, and cleaning and gardening with Washington Parks & People.
